The 1998 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded jointly to Robert F. Furchgott, Louis J. Ignarro, and Ferid Murad "for their discoveries concerning nitric oxide as a signalling molecule in the cardiovascular system." There is a vast literature examining the various biological roles nitric oxide plays. We’ve collected a few articles here for reference. Noxsano is working diligently to bring the first easy-to-use, low-cost nitric oxide delivery mechanism to the human market for routine treatment of a wide variety of wounds. Stay tuned here for updates on our progress.
